David Paul Ausubel!

In the post today I will write on a psychologist and pedagog that to marked my carrera because of his theory of the "meaningful learning". He is David Paul Ausubel was born in 1918 New York, study in the New York university and was a follower of Jean Piaget. In the moment when the Bruner theory  gained strength based on discovery learning, Ausubel thought that this was not only important but also the learning styles of reception, he thought  that learning could be acquired by discovery and reception according to certain rules. The important thing is to obtain a "meaningful learning".

               

the "meaningful learning" is the more important discoveries of Ausubel, this  "meaningful learning" is a learning that is achieved according to certain characteristics:

Significance logic of material

Psychological significance of  material

Favorable attitude of the student

For example for to achieve a "meaningful learning" they must first to rescue the "previous knowledges" asking to the childrens that know of butterfly, they will share her experienced, later, beginning  of the experienced of the childrens we organize the new knowledge

I think is very important this knowledge and i believe that is a deficiencies of the school, the  learning  is not meaningful for the childrens.  are  learning decontextualized and aliens. 

with this information we can create the environment necessary for that childrens can development this  "meaningful learning"  and the education to have more sense. 

The piece of news: Pre-school of thought!

The piece of news I chose is  about of a program of the "Westminster Children's Society" (WCS); this program is about, a form of combater the racism in the children's, as that was discovered that children’s develop racist thoughts from three years.  How they do? The WCS not only cares of the childrens also of the parents more poor and workers, by providing community nurseries where leave their children meanwhile works Also  provide certified, vocational training to his staff.

My favorite movies!

One of my favorite movies is "50 First Dates" known in Latin America as "Como si fuera la primera vez" , directed by Peter Segal. This is a romantic comedy starring Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore, I love the movie because is light and funny, I laugh so much, also act  my favorite actors and   the places of the movie are beautiful and the soundtrack is very good

The film tells the story of Henrry Veterinary of  marine animals.  he meets in acafe lucy and she fall in  love.  the problem is that she has a memory disorder and when seen the next day she does not remember to henrry. At Lucy  they made him believe that  was always the same day, as could not remember the days after the accident that caused this problem. For this Henry has started to invent various situations with the help of his friend Ula, to call the attention of Lucy she for her to fall in love with him every day. Hennry achieved the approval of the father and brother of lucy and become boyfriends. Henry must find you a way to make Lucy  remember what has happened and the solution is a video where you see everything that happened after the accident.

My Best Holiday!

In the posts of today I go to tell because my best holiday…

My best holiday were this year, in the January of this year and I travel alone, but my sister, my brother in law, my friends Cristobal, Cesar and Maria; and this sons  I meet in the airport, this was my first travel in plan I was very nervous.

       

I travel to Easter Island and I do a lot things, I knew the a’hu (altar of moais) Tongariki ah’u, Tahi  a’hu  ; explored caves for example Ana Te Pora Cave or Two Window cave; I ate tuna fish, mango and typical fish of the island her name is picis; I dance  typical music and I dress with. 

                                                                    

I did travel, Because my sister was living there and gave me the travel ticket because she was lonely in that place, she needed someone to her family.

These where my best holidays because were in the place that always I dreamed visiting, that is an place very mystic and wonderful, her people is friendly and very very good for the party. as well were good because I meet many friends that  I go to visit in the next summer.

Country where I want to travel is GRECIA!

Grecia is a country found in Europa in the extreme south of the Balkan Peninsula and on the coast of the Mediterranean Sea.

I want visit Grecia for many reasons, one because Grecia is the cradle of the Western civilization and of the democracy, philosophy, Olympic game.

I dream visit the polis and the temples, for example the Parthenon the temple of atenea or the temple of Zeus. I love the universal history and my favorite unit in this subject been Greek civilization and Roman civilization.  

Other reasons is because possess beautiful scenery and a wonderful architecture, as a Santorini Island, where the white of the houses and his constructions are reflected in the sea or the Samos island it has beautiful beaches and archaeological sites.

I would travel for meet more about the history of Grecia and enjoy of her wonderful scenery,  but no for live  in this country because is a country with many problem economic and politic that the maintain for Grecia in recession.

First term 2012

Hello :)

To be began the second term and for this good I done recount about experiences during the first term:

This first term 2012 been very good in different aspect, family, study and work for example; in family, my sister returned to Santiago later of two years living in Easter island, I  missed much to Daiana she is my older sister and my best friend.  In study was a excellent period, I passed all the subjects with grades on six, my favorite subjects of this first term 2012  went "construction of learning environment", “dance” , "family, school and community" and "practice five" this I did in the school of the foundation "Nuestros hijos"  where I had that do class to children’s hospitalized for his cancer  treatments.  In the work, I found a new job, of packer in the homecenter, the tips are good and has save money for the vacations 2013.

I hope that this second term 2012 will be very good for all.
